Papa & Daddy, also known as Ross and Shawn, began their directing careers in London after leaving cushy agency jobs at Bartle Bogle Hegarty and Saatchi & Saatchi, where they won numerous awards (including 9 Cannes Lions and a D&AD Silver Pencil) for such clients as Nike, Levi’s, Lynx , Toyota and Lexus.

Ross and Shawn’s directorial debut, for MTV Asia, garnered a Silver Nomination at D&AD. Their follow up campaign for MTV, UK was also nominated by the British Design and Art Director’s Annual.

Lured by the United States’ ample sunshine and quality Mexican food, Papa & Daddy returned to their home country where they are now based.

Recently, they wrote and directed a commercial for Mountain Dew Amp Energy drink for BBDO New York, which aired during the Superbowl. This ad placed in the top 10 on USA Today’s Ad Meter, and at this writing, generated over a million hits online.
