Juan Delcan

Director
An internationally experienced live action director, Juan Delcan’s heart-thumping advertising has been heavily aired on television networks ranging from Germany and Spain, to PBS Kids and NBC. Also an artist and designer, Juan’s illustration work is arresting and emotional. U2 took notice of his work and commissioned him to create an animation that World serve as a backdrop for their live performance of the hit song Yahweh, on their 2005 Vertigo tour.

Most recently the creative director at Spontaneous Combustion, Juan started his career as a graphic designer and illustrator for Spanish magazines, then moved on to graphic design for video games at the Madrid company, Opera Soft. His talent brought him nacional recognition , where he eventually served as Creative Director at Pittard Sullivan, Lee Hunt Associates, V12 and the aforementioned Spontaneous.

Delcán has won numerous awards including a London International Advertising and Design Award, gold and silver at the BDA Awards, a Telly Award, and many others. His clients include AT&T, Coca-Cola, Ikea, Maybelline, PBS, and Verizon.
